| | After 18 years, my faithful cat, Kitty, passed away in 2011. Upset about his death, I decided to get another cat. I saw this beautiful, red, American Tabby online at the Dearborn Animal Shelter, so I quickly put my name in first to adopt Jason. He was only 4 months old, but what I researched online was; a purebred cat like that (at his age) can cost over $600 through a professional breeder.
The Dearborn Animal Shelter received Jason because someone found him on the street as a stray. Who in the world would ever let a jewel-of-cat like that become a stray?! Lucky for me I jumped on this one fast because he was a "goldmine" for me. He actually became some sort of little mountain lion!
Jason immediatetly gravitated to me and we became a team from the very first day. I had so much luck with my first Tabby cat, so this one is quite a monster as well.
Look out all you mice, moles, birds, chipmunks, squirrels, and other pests that bother me every year--Jason (and the golden fleece) is here to stay now!
I love my new little cat! Welcome, Jason, to Gramma's Gardens. | | |
